RyanTPG 0 Posted May 6, 2018 So I just got rage today, and as soon as I try to launch into a random server, it tells me that I have to update to 1.42 to play. The problem is that I updated to 1.42 months ago. Note that this is the bought version of GTA V and not the pirated version. Any help would be appreciated. So it's good we got past the first layer of questioning (Legit Copy). So, let's slowly start to work down the list.. Is this a fresh install of RAGE? (It must be if it's giving that error, right?), where do you have RAGE installed to? Show me the screenshot of the type and ver on this path in the registry - "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RAGE-MP" And tell me your version of the game (steam or social club)? Do the following: Windows Key + R (Or click start and type run) and then type regedit and press enter and then do the following: on this path in the registry - "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RAGE-MP" Show me the screenshot of the type and ver And like Joshua said mods can be an issue so you should remove them.
