Mapping Importation

Information

Traditionally we have imported mapping to the server by converting mapping into RageMP code and hard-coding it to the server's source code to place it on the server. This means every time mapping has been uploaded, it requires us to take the file, do a full conversion process, paste it into our game code and then restart the server to load in the new code.

 

This new mapping system allows us to import mapping files directly to the server without needing to hard-code them - the server can now read mapping files and spawn any objects it finds inside them. Not only that, this system boasts several advanced features, like the ability to upload new mapping files whilst the server is still running, support of different mapping file types, and the ability to directly save to the furniture system.

Drag & Drop, Restart-less Importation

Instead of needing to be hard-coded, mapping files can simply be placed on a single server-side folder while it is still running. The mapping importation system can then immediately read these files and place down mapping objects in the dimension/property an admin specifies to spawn them to.

Both Map Editor & Menyoo File Support

Any mapping files created from Map Editor or Menyoo's Object Spooner are supported and may be uploaded to the server. Note any custom object mods that are not part of vanilla GTA 5 cannot be uploaded yet as those mods are not on the server-side.

Map Previewing & Furniture System Saving

Mapping can be imported in two different ways. The first method is preview only, which will spawn it into the server but not save it anywhere, allowing it to be shown as a brief preview and despawned later when needed. Alternatively, mapping can be directly loaded to a property and saved to its furniture system - allowing the property owner to immediately edit the mapping objects and move them if they wish.

Auto-defining Unknown Objects to Furniture System

Not every single GTA 5 object is known to our furniture system. If the map importation system finds an object that isn't stored in our furniture list, it will automatically create a basic definition of it so it can be spawned as furniture straight away, without needing an admin or developer to add it manually.

Update 1.5.3a

Changes

  • /sniffcar can now be used to check for either drugs or guns. (/sniffcar  [guns/drugs])
  • Added /fixinvi to be used when you're inside interiors and you see invisible players
  • Reduced chat lag when driving around the map or loading in a new location, the full fix will be deployed with RageMP 0.3.8
  • Slightly increased the range of K-9 tracking
  • Changed some backend stuff for the keypad system to prepare for a larger implementation coming later

Information

Multi-Interior is a new type of marker that allows us to create completely new property structures that can consist of a dynamic number of floors and rooms. With this system, we can create markers that lead to many properties, which enables us to create things like apartment complexes, hotels, motels, & elevators that allow players to TP between multiple floors and multiple rooms within those floors using a completely menu UI-based system.

 

With this update, we are also able to reach entirely new, untouched housing areas such as Little Seoul, Pillbox and Downtown, as we can enable them with this system early without requiring unique interior mapping for each. This allows us to create over a thousand new housing spaces in areas we've been unable to reach, which is crucial timing as we've been rapidly running out of our remaining houses, with very little potential locations to spawn properties left.

Update 1.5.4

Addition

  • Multi-Interior system: a new dynamic property system that allows us to create markers that lead to multiple floors with multiple rooms inside. This new system will introduce the ability to add apartments, hotels, motels, elevators & many morenew dynamic property structures! Read more here:
  • 2029 new properties have been added on the server !
  • The taxi job has been revamped and reworked to add a new CEF fare system and fix some bugs related to the job
  • Added /highlight to highlight the text messages of another player
  • You can now use /namephone to set a name to your phone

Changes

  • All RPG jobs (fishing, garbage, courier, mining) are now limited to players with a low total amount of assets, If your character has more assets than you should have realistically for these jobs, you will not be paid anymore. This is a preparation for the upcoming removal of payments from the void with these jobs : mining will be removed once trucking is live, courier is replaced by trucking, garbage will be revamped to work with properties and fishing will be based on business needs and also used as a relaxing activity.
  • The road tax is now removed, and replaced by a mandatory insurance paid weekly for vehicles.
  • The price of the insurance will be cheaper than the old road tax for all vehicles except sport / supersport. (3% instead of 5%) and all vehicles under 100k will have to pay 1%. This insurance is not mandatory OOCly, only ICly through a future penal code change.
  • "Leave a message" feature will now show the recipient number rather than the sender.
  • The weekly insurance will now have to be paid monthly. Its price has been reduced for all vehicles (It did not x4 from week to month) except for sport/supersport vehicles.
  • You'll now be able to mine ores even If you are not eligible to be paid, so that you can still use the factory

Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where some players weren't able to use /setnumber on a new contract due to an old contract already existing and being invisible
  • Fixed multiple server crashes
  • Dropped items will now only be visible in the dimension of the player who dropped it
  • Fixed /sms between administrators
  • Fixed formatting of /myphones for custom phone names
  • Added some optimizations on the phone system
  • Fixed the taxi stop counter
  • Fixed multiple crashes
  • map.gta.world is now available again!

Update 1.5.5

Additions

  • Added a new business type : business created generic items, allowing you to prepare / order items that you will directly name with the following command:
    • /createitem goods,recipe item_name 
  • This new script allows the creation of restaurants, music stores, video stores, video game stores, art galleries, or whatever else you'll come up with your imagination! Property Management will define a specific perimeter to your business so that you and your employees will know what they can order or not. A restaurant will be able to do for example /createitem recipe Carbonara Pasta :

  • In order to request a custom item store, use Request a Shop. Choose "Custom Item Store" and then if you would like to request it inside a property you already own, make sure you select that property. Otherwise if you wish for it to be outside, leave select a property blank.
  • Added a new business type : Liquor store. You can now sell alcohol directly in your shop to other players!

  • Added 4 new sitting animations and new adult animations

Fixes

GTAW 1.6 Development blog

GTAW 1.6 is a massive update, focused on reshaping your experience and to do that we have been working hard to release new content but to also replace our old content. We've been rebuilding from scratch multiple parts of our gamemode to prepare it for future content and reshape it in a 2019 look instead of the usual GTA menu.

This update will bring a lot of new roleplay opportunities and improve your overall experience on GTA World, from new businesses to new jobs, while getting rid of deprecated scripts such as mining, courier and selling fishes to an NPC (you'll still be able to sell your fishes to restaurant owners for example).

So, what's coming for the beginning of this summer?

 

New character selection screen

You can now preview your characters directly from the login screen while having some stats directly printed out:

New dealership implementation

We've completely reworked dealerships to be fully dynamic and to change its display! All dealerships are now dynamically loaded with a specific amount of cars, and you'll be able to own and manage vehicles inside your dealership in a soon to come update after 1.6! For now, only the design and the backend system changed:

CEF Phone

It is finally coming, the CEF phone! You'll find below a very early implementation and design of the phone, which

will most likely change for its final implementation as we're currently mostly working on the backend. You'll be able to message and call your friends, while also using Facebrowser of course!

 

Playerlist

The long awaited player list will now be available directly ingame when pressing O! It's been a long time requested (and missing!) feature:

New business Tobacco store

You can now own a tobacco store to sell cigarettes & cigars! These stores will be available in the city and you'll now be required to buy cigarette before being able to use the smoking animation.

Illegal activities will also be boosted as selected roleplayers will receive cheap illegal supplies of cigarettes to sell.

 

Weapon attachments

We've developed weapon attachment synchronization and it's now ready for a release! Police officers & criminals will be able to use these attachments and tints for their weapons. Below is an example of the technical feature:

Obviously not all attachments and tints will be available to ensure continuity within our realistic world.

 

Note system (Flyers, pictures, papers...)

You can now buy empty notes and print them with pictures or text to distribute to other players! Advertise your company, your club opening with a flyer, or just share a love letter with someone with our new note system!

You can name each note and set their content, it can be a specific picture or some text.

All imgur links will be valid to be used as pictures. You'll need to visit a printing shop to put an image or a design on your notes!

 

New business : Printing shop

The printing shop will allow you to buy an important amount of flyers, advertisement papers, notes at the same time and to design them with images! Go to your nearest printing shop and see what they have to offer!

New job Trucker

This new script will allow us to close the economy circle by supplying each businesses with their needed materials and providing a never ending cycle of market needs that will be funded with players money and city projects. You will be able to either join a trucking company (player owned or not) that will have trucks you may use based on your trucking licence / skill and thus supply companies after delivering orders:

This new trucker job also includes a full change of the component system, and each businesses will now require their own component: food for restaurant, clothes for clothing store, papers for printing stores, etc.

The trucking was initially planned for 1.5, however some last minute issues forced me to delay its release to deliver a flawless experience. Thank you for your patience!

Invite your friends and receive free World Points!

 

We'll be offering everyone free world points through an affiliation system! Invite your friend by generating an affiliate link and then track their progress through the registration and ingame!

You'll be able to see who has reached a 100% progress on the requirements to unlock the world points directly from your UCP :

To avoid potential abuses of mass registrations, every players will be asked to play at least 50 hours to confirm that they are new "active" players, before you can receive your 50 WP!

 

When is it coming ?

When it's ready! Most of these features are almost finished and we still need to polish everything, so expect an early July release 🙂 

 

What's coming next ?

 

We're going to keep working on improving existing features such as the dynamic dealerships for players to own, and we're also slowly developing from scratch a fully new drug system that will provide an in-depth drug roleplay, from creation of synthetic drugs to cutting agent modifying the drug strength, quality, while giving you the ability to also name your own drugs.

We're also working on a card system for various card games, and casino slots machines! Many more projects are in the boxes, but these are two big ones that I would love to be able to show soon.

+ They are trying to keep RP standards high
+ Good amount of players
+ Facebrowser - Virtual facebook, even though it has some bugs here and there, very good addition
+ Frequent updates, even though they don't fix much

- They fail to keep RP standards high by restricting faction RP and even banning people if they dislike their character, as a whole level of RP is low-med.
- Script is fairly basic, some interesting features and additions here and there, but as a whole, if you don't have a good amount of friends there, you'll find yourself doing same stuff every day. If you want to try it, illegal characters have way more to them than legal ones., then again, if you find the right people
- Mixing real life with gta lore quite a bit, can't stick to one thing
- p2w 
- Worst thing about the server is the fact that it was moved from another client, code is not optimized and server is crashing all the time. If you manage to play for 2 hours straight, it's a good thing.
- Selfish management
- No privacy, they monitor your PMs IG and more. Be careful.


I've played on this server for two years, it was promising but now it seems like dying.
