Heyo to anyone reading this,

We're currently looking to expand our small development team to speed up progress a bit and to get more individuals diving into our development side of the community. We have a fairly complex code that has a lot of intricate parts. We're a javascript house, with of course the basic HTML & CSS for the user interface. We're a 'no command' community, meaning most of our systems are interacted with via the UI we create for the player. We do have templates for this nowadays making this a much easier task. If you're interested in joining our team, you should check out the information below.

  1. We're looking for individuals who really want to be apart of the community. If you're looking for an environment that is more like a community then a job, this is the spot for you.
  2. All developers go through a brief probationary phase. We had a lot of issuers with non-committed developers. We want to make sure everyone is fully ready to hop in before introducing them fully into the community.
  3. We're a Trello/Gitlab house using our own system of the Agile Development Environment.
  4. We manage our codebase using ESLint, not that it's perfect, but we're progressively trying to make it better.
  5. Bugs are tracked using our custom bug tracker but then are enacted on by the Development Team using the Trello Board.

If this is an opportunity that interests you, please reach out. Throughout the history of MCRP, finding developers has always been a difficult task. However, those who are interested, understand that we are close now. It won't be an easy couple day task getting into the team, but you'll be joining during the most hectic times with the impending launch. If you truly believe that you want to join a community that plans to go the mile, please reach out. We understand that some may be discouraged, and others may not be sure. We encourage everyone to start the conversation at the least!
