Failed to retrieve install directory in Client Posted September 29, 2020 Hey, I had the same problem but I got it fixed, maybe it will work for you too. If you had to choose the install path on your own, don´t take the "Launcher" folder, use the "Grand Theft Auto V" folder instead. That worked for me.
