    This update adds in a custom animations menu, a new radial menu, custom made interiors. As well as some quality of life of improvements.

    • Custom Animations Menu
      • Add your favorite animations under an alias
      • Commands can be deleted through the menu by clicking on them. Commands can easily be created.
      • /[Command name you chose while creating the custom animation]
      • Default commands can be previewed by clicking on them in the table.
    • New Radial Menu
      • Right click a vehicle to open the vehicle menu for a selection of different actions.
      • Right click a player to open an interaction menu.
      • New styling.
    • Rockstar Interior Music.
      • Disabled all known standard rockstar interior music.
      • Includes the nightclub interior!
    • /clearchat command
      • Clears your chatbox.
    • Remove the black box around /ame and /ado
    • /ame, /ado and /status now show up for yourself!
    • Icons under the nametag have been removed and replaced with colors. (Next update features badges like we know them from MTA).
    • Removed health and armor icon completely.
    • Notes: Use item to output the contents of the note inside your chatbox.

    Features & Adjustments

    • Toggleable windows
      • /togwindows or X (Which can be rebound using the keybind manager) will toggle your vehicle windows.
      • The chat-system has been adjusted accordingly. 
      • When in a vehicle with the windows up you can't hear the people outside of your vehicle unless they shout.
      • Same goes for phones, radios and whispering.
      • Window states are synced and should be seeable by everyone.
    • Notes
      • /writenote [message]
      • when dropping the note hold ALT to see the contents of the note.
      • Admins can see the username of the person who dropped the note as well as the status (locked/unlocked)
      • Admins on duty can lock and unlock the notes by right clicking it.

    We are hosting a 4th July Celebration this Satuday at 7PM in game at the Santa Maria Pier. There is a surprise at the event and we will ALSO be doing GC giveaways throughout the evening so make sure you're in game for a chance to win!     I also would like to remind everyone that we do currently have server asset transfers for those of you who wish to join Owl and are coming from a different roleplay server, we understand that people often don't wish to lose the progress they had, therefore this is in place to give you the best start to Owl. In order to receive the transfer please create a ticket on our UCP: https://owlgaming.net/ with a picture of your stats and UCP information from the other server in order for us to approve these transfers.
    We have also recently made a change regarding tokens, for those who have lost their token assets we now refund these assets so you can start over on the server, this is just limited to the same amounts as the tokens themselves but should allow you to get back into roleplaying instead of having nothing upon your return.

    OwlV is here to stay and we look forward to progressing the server, whilst creating the perfect experience for our members.

    This update adds in the ability to choose additional languages for your character, the ability to rob a store clerk, create an illegal faction, as well as many fixes!

    Features & Adjustments

    • Allow players to sell their vehicle back to the server at the dealership for 33% of the value.
    • Allow administrators to use /setpropfaction /setvehfaction /sellveh and /sellproperty
    • Multiple Languages
      • Character creation allows choosing a second language
      • Language skill progresses as your character speaks and hears that language
    • Store Robberies
      • Aim a gun at a store clerk to begin a robbery
      • Police will be called shortly after the robbery
      • The robbery gives the robbing player a randomized amount of money
      • Administrators can view recent robberies via /recentrobberies
    • Faction create menu moved into the F3 panel
      • Added the ability to create legal or illegal factions. More on this soon!

    • Removed double marker in trash job
    • Updated marijuana item descriptions
    • Fixed SMS not notifying the player
    • Fixed setowner doesn't give keys
    • Loop the smoking animation
    • Fixed a bug where broadcasters couldn't start a broadcast alone

    • Changed the tooltip for smoking & allowed players to cancel the animation

    • Added smoking
      • Added new store type: Tobacco Shop
      • Added new items:
        • Cigarettes
        • Cigars
        • Rolling Papers
        • Lighters
      • Joint rolling logic. You need weed and rolling paper to roll a joint. A joint takes 1 gram of weed.
      • A pack of cigarettes has 20 in it. Press use on the item to take one out. Press use on the cigarette to start smoking. Make sure you have a lighter to light it.
      • The Premium-Grade cigar box has 10 in it.
      • The High-Class cigar box has 5 in it.
    • A slimmed down rental experience that just offers renting a scooter for 1 day, generally for brand new players and placed near spawn
    • Increased starting money for new characters to match economic changes since launch
      • On hand increased from $100 to $1000
      • In bank increased from $500 to $5000

     

    Fixes

    • 0003812: Interacting with Hunting Merch my game freezes for a couple of seconds
    • Fixed Binoculars not showing up in the store
    • Fixed a bug that allowed to split non-splittable items
    • Fixed a bug that items would go over the maximum stack size when merging them
    • Don't show admin colors when a user is selecting their character
    • When a user goes back to char selection, clear "spawned" entity data so they don't still appear as on a character.
    • Fix buttons in clothing store
    • Fix "needs watering" showing up at different times for different people
    • Fix weed ped having two names
    • Fix application skipping
    • Announce to all admins when someone is forceapped.

      • A news system for news factions. Start a broadcast may it be an interview or a TV broadcast. With a synced live view of the camera that can be operated by a member of the news crew you can watch it all happen from closeby. Or if the news agency is doing an interview on the radio then you can tune in and listen.

    • Added Marijuana growing
      • There is a rumor going around that a certain Sock vendor in Vespucci Beach may be dabbling in illegal drug operations
      • With seeds, you can place the plant in a good (hidden) spot
      • You must water the plant every 24 hours, for 6 days.
      • You can fertilize and/or trim the plant once.
      • A typical plant yields 28 grams of weed, +5 if fertilized, and +5 if trimmed
      • Once it is fully grown, you turn it into a drying plant, wait 48 hours and then you can cut it up into regular weed items

    • Redesigned F3 and Bank menus
    • All UI's are now in dark mode
    • Anticheat improvements
    • Added modular duty points (admins can now create faction duty points dynamically)
