Vatto Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 What if... As a player, If I get detected for having hacks, the EAC will flag my rockstar id as a hacker in a database somewhere. (Bonus: reason, date?) As a developer I can use a new built-in server event "playerCheater" that gets triggered when a hacker that was detected by EAC in the past, gets connected to the server. So they can't uninstall the hacks and just join the game. We should know if their intentions are bad, so people won't try hacks "for fun"
mehaw Posted April 22, 2022 Posted April 22, 2022 Your idea is well intended but is very easy to block outgoing connections, so like that you can avoid getting flagged as cheater.
Kopra Posted April 22, 2022 Posted April 22, 2022 (edited) That's also very easy to check, and if true, simply do not allow such player in server. You have nothing to hide? Unblock. Let's just wait for official EAC RAGE API and then we can talk more about it. Edited April 22, 2022 by Kopra
