Does your GTA5 work correctly in single player mode? If so, try setting the game to borderless window mode and trying rage again.

Are you using a cracked version of GTA5?

Are you using AVAST or AVG as your antivirus?

Might be quicker for you to join the RAGE discord and using the search feature to see how others have resolved it.
