What you say makes no sense, no one wants to go back to older version, we all want to go to newer version. I assure you newer versions just brings more, not less. Maybe some gamemodes and resources need to be updated and maintained, but that's pretty standard thing.

As @Kopra said, what you're posting doesn't make sense.

People will have to adapt the gamemodes (few changes are required) in order to be able to play having an old gamemode as base.
