Are there any updates regarding RageMP for RDR2?

As a developer myself, I am very interested in working with RageMP on RDR2. I've found that this framework is very easy to work with on GTA 5, and I look forward to a day when we can extend this to the realm of RDR 2. Clearly the RDR 2 side isn't being worked on, so i'm wondering if the GTA 5 mod's source code is available for an individual developer to try their hand at it? Alternatively, how would one inquire with the development team about independently working on this?

I've been also personally interested in RDR2MP since I learned about it, but I don't think we will get it anytime soon, if ever. Nothing is open source here.
