Launch stuck at "Checking for update screen"

Alright when I launch the RAGE MP launcher it stays stuck on the first screen, a message pops up but it is still stuck on checking for updates even though the loading bar thing is moving, here are screenshots, I tried to exclude it from my antivirus but to no avail, need help.
