Do I have to uninstall all my mods to use rage?

Will I get banned if I don't remove my mods? If i can keep them on my  GTA V folder w/o having the hassle to remove them to play multiplayer, that would be cool.

You need a clean game to play rage, if you don't you'll get an error usually along the lines of saying 'Corrupt files'. I believe this won't ever change as it is a security thing if I remember correctly.
