RAGEMP on Mac with Crossover install saying "GTAV installation path has not been automatically detected. Please click ok to pick it now or cancel to terminate the launcher"

So I had downloaded  GTAV through RGL with crossover and when I downloaded the ragempsetup.exe it ran perfectly fine with crossover and when it got to the end of the install and I ticked "Run RageMP" it said "GTAV installation path has not been automatically detected. Please click ok to pick it now or cancel to terminate the launcher" so when I try to pick a path, it doesn't work. When I go to applications, crossover,rockstar games and highlight it and press select it it just brings me back to the same message. I have seen others with this issue and I think some of them have resolved it but I can't make out what they are saying.
