unsupported game texture error

the game crashes and there is this error "this game crashed due to unsupported game texture encoding format from custom mods". what does this mean and how to fix this? i didn't download any mods

my version of the game is Enhanced. the game also wouldn't load when i tried with the Legacy

i've already tried reinstalling everything
