revenreve Posted August 15 Posted August 15 Hello, Support Team! I am experiencing a persistent critical issue when trying to launch the game through RAGE MP. I own a legitimate copy of GTA V via the Epic Games Store. When launching the game directly through the Epic Games Launcher or playing standard GTA Online/Story Mode, everything works perfectly, the license validates correctly, and the game runs without any issues. However, whenever I try to connect to any server via RAGE MP, the Rockstar Games Launcher prompts a fatal "Activation Required" error (requesting an activation key), or the game process exits before creating a window. Troubleshooting steps already taken (none of which resolved the issue): Clean reinstallation of Windows 10 and a fresh installation of the game on a secondary SSD (using strict Latin-only directory paths). Completely clearing local cache, including Social Club and Launcher folders in Documents and AppData. Disabling Windows Defender and Windows Firewall entirely. Testing across different networks and internet providers (o2, Germany). Running all applications (Epic Games Launcher, Rockstar Launcher, RAGE MP) strictly with Administrator privileges, ensuring Epic Games is fully loaded beforehand. Pre-launching a standard GTA Online session prior to opening RAGE MP. According to the Rockstar Launcher logs, when the game is initialized via RAGE MP, the exchangecode authorization token from Epic Games fails to hand off properly, causing the Rockstar service to drop the session and demand an activation key. Could you please assist me in resolving this compatibility/authorization bug between RAGE MP and the Epic Games version of GTA V? Thank you in advance!
