Your game version is not supported by RAGE multiplayer, please upgrade it to 1.44

Social Club just updated my GTA V and now whenever I try to connect to GTA:W OR ANY OTHER SERVER, it gives me an error saying, "ERROR: Your game version is not supported by RAGE multiplayer, please upgrade it to 1.44 in order to continue playing."

 

I need help..

I found a solution on a forum from a server.

Solution

First link in there but it's only for the steam version (According to the author)

If you done the update already just save the 3 files you would replace in a backup folder to change to the new version back without downloading it again.

That worked for me and I'm using the steam version.

Sadly i dont use the Steam Version, its the Social Club Version..

but thank you very much maybe it helps other players

I have had this message since i updated it, about 5 hours ish.

Try to block the GTAVLauncher at your Firewall, Download the File from the Solution Link and put it into your GTA V Folder

it worked for me, give it a try!
