Hey everyone,

Im asking if it would make sense to increase the sync rate to get a better synchronisation or is the default value of 40 the best way, because my tought is, too fast can cost some losses while synchronisation. Also: Does the sync rate influence the client fps?

Thank you.

Hi, Ben,

From my understanting, it is depends on what you want to do with faster synchronization and what server power you have. Bigger sync rate will cost your server and at some point synchronization will fail, because your server will not be able to handle this traffic. Probably, default sync rate is better to live as it is, except if you are writing your own synchronization between clients. And yes, I doubt if network traffic will cause FPS losses.

Thanks @draobrehtom for your answer and explanation. I thank you very much.
