Korse 0 Posted October 3, 2018 So, I got... i5-3350P 3.10 GHz, 8 GB of Ram and GTX 970 as GPU. Games run just fine. Including GTA 5, in single-player and its official online. Settings set on High. However, when it comes to RageMP, I only tried one server... and it has this problem that other people in that server don't have... ...when driving a car across the city - the game begins lagging, dropping fps (which is around 60 or more) to 20 once one or two seconds, rapidly, over and over... which is hinting me that the game is about to crash. And then the game crashes. Just like that. While on foot, I don't have the same problem. There might be a few similar lags - yes, but the game doesn't crash. It's with the vehicles only I had this problem.
MrPancakers 109 Posted October 3, 2018 Do you happen to play on more than 60GHz? I'd lower it down to 60, if that does nothing lower all your game settings down, enable vsync or try cap your FPS at 60 and see if it continues to happen.
Korse 0 Posted October 3, 2018 I'm on 60GHz, yeah... and haven't yet tried lowering all settings, though I doubt people that -have no such problem- play on low settings. Maybe it's some specific thing I got on high that should be on low?

That's what I mean, lower everything and if it stops happening, then it obviously is one option and so then you'd go one by one and turn each option back up until you get your issue again, there's no point going one by one and eventually finding out it isn't to do with your settings. If that really doesn't happen in singleplayer, then that should be an issue of the server you're playing on (especially since you tried only a single server).
